A Near-Future International Thriller

It is 2030, four years after the thrilling events of Prometheus Blue, where we learned that a sun-sized star fragment will destroy the Earth in 700 years. US President Amanda Lexington believes she can rally the world to build enough nuclear explosive power to destroy it.
Former con artist Maddy Stone lives a life of luxury in rural New Zealand. Her husband David Destine, founder of the anti-nuclear Destiny Movement, influences Lexington to secretly test the globe’s nuclear arsenal on Mars. Success would set Lexington’s place in history as humanity’s savior. Failure would condemn Earth to poverty, environmental wreckage and global conflict.
But Lexington’s plan comes with a tragic complication: space entrepreneur Jeffrey Knowles has a manned base on Mars, temporarily hidden from the Lexington and the world.
When Maddy is betrayed by David, he only man she has ever trusted, she must fight a desperate battle for her life to reveal his secret to the world. When Lexington learns of the base, she realizes even success has a terrible price, forcing her to choose between two enormous evils in a heart-pounding conclusion.
